86618: Antibody, Borrelia burgdorferi (Lyme disease)

86617: Antibody, Borrelia burgdorferi confirmatory test (Western Blot)

Specimens are transported to the Montana Public Health Laboratory in Helena Monday thru Friday prior to testing.

Days Performed: Varies Monday through Friday

Turn-around Time: Samples are routinely batch tested once per week

* Positive specimens are referred to the South Dakota Public Health Laboratory for IgG and IgM Western Blot confirmation.

Transport Temperature: 2 - 30°C (Refrigeration preferable)
