Specimen Type: Oral/buccal swab, oropharyngeal swab, or urine (minimum 50 mL)

Container / Tube: viral transport media (swabs) or sterile container (urine)

87798: Infectious agent detection by nucleic acid

Specimens are transported to the Montana Public Health Laboratory in Helena Monday thru Friday prior to testing.

Days Performed: Monday through Friday

Turn-around Time: 1 to 2 working days

Transport Temperature: 2 - 8°C if within 24 hours or freeze at -70°C
