Container / Tube: Tubes containing Formalin and PVA or Total Fix preservative

*  Tubes are available in the Microbiology Department

*  Immediately prepare the preserved specimen

Testing Schedule

Specimens are transported to the Montana Public Health Laboratory in Helena Monday thru Friday prior to testing.

 

Days Performed: Monday through Friday

Turn-around Time: 1 to 2 working days

Special Instructions

For optimal recovery, a series of three specimens should be submitted.
