Special Instructions

Pretreatment of specimens with fixatives is not recommended as this can cause a decrease or loss of fluorescence.

Testing Schedule

Days Performed: Monday through Sunday

Times Performed: Day Shift only (0600 - 1430)

Turn-around Time: On Day Shift, specimens are processed as they arrive,1.5 - 2 hour turnaround

*  If the specimen arrives after 1300, it will be processed the following morning
